Color To Color This was a short-run print operation for prototyping of book covers and cosmetic labels. I began as a screen printer but was able to introduce a different and more effective approach to the preparation process that resulted in improved quality and reduction in production times.

Speed Graphics This was a full service printing company that processed and or produced print products from large format prints like outdoor color banners to stationary products like letterheads and business cards while also supporting other media outlets with linotype and slide transparency. I began here as a computer/linotype operator but as the industry began to change my skills as an artist and timely training in computer graphics became an asset in assisting the department’s transition where I was made a department head.

Duggal Visual Solutions This is one of the fore most imaging centers in the business of generating and producing imagery across different mediums i.e. print, video, viral and even hologram. I was employed here as a graphic artist in the large format prints department where among other duties I was tasked with color correcting these huge images for clients like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Ann Taylor, my unique experience was with the Ann Taylor projects where the would send the actual garment the models wore in the photo so that the images had to match it as they would often place these under the banner in the show window, these were specifically assigned to me.

Spectrum Imaging Center This firm features a photo studio, event video productions in addition to large format and other short run printings. I was employed here as a video editor where postproduction and delivery format was to DVD. The videos often incorporated slides that were made accessible independent of the main video along with other features like chapters via a sub-menu, this made for a lovely and functional package but became a major obstacle when we decided to switch to Blu-ray as this disc did not support that format and the software manual provided no instructions to help this transition, I was able to find a solution that would respond to the sub-menu.
